ILI: 1% (Activity increased in one surveillance region: Central to 1.2% and decreased to no activity in the remaining three regions)

In the past week, there were three constitutional alerts in the C(2) and N(1) Influenza Surveillance Regions and four respiratory alerts in the C(3) and N(1) Regions.

MDSS data for the week ending October 1st indicated that individually reported influenza cases remained at very low levels, while aggregate reports slightly increased. Individual influenza cases are similar to levels seen during the same time last year..
