Viral meningitis confirmed at two more Genesee County schools

GENESEE COUNTY, MI -- Two Genesee County school districts have confirmed cases of viral meningitis.

Grand Blanc Community Schools sent out a letter Wednesday, Oct. 7, to inform parents that a student at the high school has been diagnosed with viral meningitis.

A student at Dailey Elementary in the Beecher district has also contracted the virus, according to a report on ABC12.

The viral meningitis cases at Grand Blanc and Beecher schools come after other confirmed cases in Montrose, Swartz Creek, Davison and Clio. Swartz Creek closed all school buildings for a day after multiple cases, including one student diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, was reported in the district...

MONTROSE, MI -- A second Montrose middle school student has been diagnosed with viral meningitis, according to the district.
