Dept. of Community Health confirms first measles case in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan Department of Community Health has confirmed the first measles case in the state of Michigan.
The state health department made the announcement Friday afternoon, in a release.
The case involves an adult from Oakland County, and the Department of Community Health states that the infection may be associated with the recent Disneyland outbreak in California. However, an exact cause has not yet been determined...

Baldwin Community Schools in Lake County has a possible case of measles.
Stiles Simmons, Baldwin Superintendent, said, "The robo call simply stated that we have a suspected case of measles.however, it's not been confirmed. we won't receive the results back until sometime next week."
