MEXICO-
Three years after the porcine flu caused an international fright, the Mexican government and the means of press disagree on the severity of the virus of flu of this period. Some newspapers are warning on a worrying increase of cases, whereas the government insists that there is no motive for being alarmed. State and federal officials of health accept that an increase exists, but they point out that the number of cases is inside the status of a normal period of flu.

The Secretary of Health, nevertheless, has placed in his Internet place confused numbers and has not specified the increase of cases in spite of several requests of The Associated Press. The secretary brought on Sunday, the 637th confirmed cases of flu till now in 2012 with 10 deaths, nine of them associated with 573 cases of H1N1. On January 15 it brought very much minor numbers: 181 cases confirmed in general and five deaths in 2012, which means that the cases would have increased 250 % in only one week. The same bulletin said that in the whole last year there were 870 cases of flu in general and 35 deaths.
