Covid-19 suspected patients sleep in chairs and on the floor in Iztacalco

Mexico City.- The General Hospital number 30 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), in the Iztacalco mayor's office, is saturated in the area of "respiratory triage" that is located in the hospital patio.

The Political Animal portal reported that medical personnel and patients have to sleep on the floor and metal chairs.
"Elderly patients lying on three metal chairs lined up to make an improvised hospital bed," the report reads.
The IMSS confirmed that, due to the saturation of the hospital, medical personnel and patients have to suffer from poor conditions during the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).
For which he assured that he will undertake urgent measures through two actions: one, "removing the sick from that place."
And the second is to send more medical personnel to General Hospital number 30 to attend the saturation.
