Vaccination against the avian influenza A H5N2 virus can only be applied in production units located in regions identified as low prevalence zones, in the states of Coahuila, Durango, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Puebla, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí, with prior authorization from Senasica.
The target population is birds from Poultry Production Units (UPA) with a zootechnical function of fattening and long life (commercial laying, breeding and parent birds).
