The first day of school packages were delivered to primary and technical secondary Morelia, Michoacan .- The Ministry of Education in the State, SEE, started the distribution of school supplies for the filters to be installed in more than 11 000 elementary schools in preventing any health emergency.
The delivery of this material began simultaneously with the resumption of classes after the holiday period, and is in charge of the Department of Health Education and Environment of the SEE, informed the head of the department, Rosario Pantoja Sosa.
Inputs are endowed by the Ministry of Health and consist of masks and hand sanitizer, in order to strengthen prevention of respiratory diseases and influenza A H1N1.
The first day of school packages were delivered to staff both technical secondary and primary, secondary and continuing with general secondary schools, preschool and elementary education.
Among the schools benefiting are the 48 shelters and two school houses, which were distributed 2,500 masks and gowns to care for children who may have symptoms of respiratory diseases.
The official recalled that the SEE instructed the state's educational authorities to the installation of the filters from 16 schools last November, and that coordination with health authorities is permanent, both for these filters to monitor climate changes, and hence to take appropriate action to protect the students.
