A fourth student was diagnosed with viral meningitis at Massabesic High School in Waterboro Tuesday. Three other cases were confirmed on Monday.
Other than going to the same school, the superintendent says the children don't have anything in common. School officials do not know how or where students are contracting meningitis, but the school is taking extra measures to clean all contact surfaces at the school.
