Season's first flu-related death reported in Frederick County

The number of flu cases confirmed at Frederick Memorial Hospital is already more than three times the total for last year.

Of the 94 cases confirmed between Jan. 1 and Jan. 10, 10 patients were admitted to the intensive-care unit.

One patient has died of complications from the flu...
