Covid-19: 25 new cases, or 1,670 in total, hospitalizations down
The evolution of the epidemic is watched closely on May 28, day of announcements by the Prime Minister on the new cards in red and green colors and on the 2nd phase of deconfinement in mainland France. In Mayotte, the word is not yet officially pronounced. Note the arrival of the 2nd army detachment and 70m3 of medical freight.

On the positive side, there has been a slight decrease in the number of hospitalizations since the day before yesterday (from 58 to 51), but it is still too early to draw a general trend. There is an additional death.
An encouraging percentage, but to put it in perspective, is that of 78% of ex-patients, which brings to 355 the number of people officially positive at Covid. The absence of a mention on the number of daily tests should encourage caution.

Additional military reinforcements at the CHM
The military hospital module will integrate the hospital
The deployment of the military resuscitation module, and its 10 beds, continues, with the arrival this morning in Mayotte of 25 personnel from the army health service, which reinforce the 16 personnel already present alongside the resuscitation teams of the CHM .
Supply
Also arriving more than 70 m3 of sanitary cargo, reports the ARS. “The load, consisting of drugs, individual protective equipment (masks, gloves, gowns, etc.), swabs and reagents for carrying out screening tests, but also technical mattresses for additional resuscitation beds, was received by the forwarder at Dzaoudzi airport this Thursday, May 28.
The organization of the logistics chain - from orders from suppliers to arrival at the CHM - in a context of global tension on materials and consumables, reduction in air cargo capacity, disorganization of maritime traffic global, mobilizes many forces, at the ARS as at the prefecture or at the hospital, in direct link with the crisis cells of the ministries of health, of the interior, of the armies, as with the forwarders and airlines , in Paris as in Reunion, where this freight intended for Mayotte transits. ARS welcomes the mobilization of all those without whom this chain could be interrupted, jeopardizing the security of supply of essential health products. "
