Rise in Covid 19 cases: vulnerable people urged to be administered the bivalent vaccine

The number of Covid 19 cases officially recorded by the government has increased over the last 48 hours. 24 cases have been officially recorded in the country. Currently, two people are in intensive care at regional hospitals. One is on oxygen, and the other is intubated.
“It is essential to take the necessary precautions ,” according to the director of public health services, Dr. Ashwamed Dinassing . He adds that the country currently has just over 50,000 bivalent vaccines.
Dr Dinassing calls for vigilance among vulnerable people. “We must get vaccinated to prevent Covid 19 from resurfacing in the country, especially as mutations are increasing. “
He recalls that vaccines are currently available in regional hospitals across the country.
As the holidays approach: increase recorded in Covid-19 cases

This is what the Ministry of Health notes. At the end of last week, 158 active cases were recorded in the country. The state of health of two patients is considered serious.
Those infected with the virus are treated with Molnupiravir, said Director of Health Services Dr. Ashwamed Dinasing.

Responding to questions from the press regarding the increase in Covid-19 cases, the minister pointed out that in such conditions (heat and humidity) the number of patients tends to multiply. Different viruses have a habit of spreading, explained Kailesh Jagutpal.
The latter adds that the situation will return to normal in the future. He invites vulnerable people to be vaccinated, but also to continue to adopt barrier gestures.
