The Director of Health said that 6 new cases of Coronao virus 4 deaths were recorded, after conducting 571 checks, 137 of which were confirmed, all in Nouakchott:

Al-Akhbar (Nouakchott) - The Ministry of Health announced just three deaths and 54 new cases of coronavirus in Mauritania today, Thursday, May 28, 2020.



The director of public health, Sidi Ould Zahaf, said that today, 287 examinations have been carried out, including 106 laboratory tests.



Ould Zahaf explained in the daily press conference of the Ministry of Health that among the new infections, 53 were contacts, in addition to one community infection case.



The new cases are distributed as follows:

3 crossbows

4 House of Bliss

1 port

8 for an eye

1 sabkha

9 Tiaret

11 twins

1 Riyadh

6 Empty Accessories

10 Arafat.



With this new result, the number of confirmed cases in Mauritania rises to 346, including 15 recoveries and 19 deaths, 312 active cases.

5 cases of recovery and 60 new cases of corona were recorded in Mauritania

The Director-General of Public Health, Dr. Sidi Ould Zahaf, has announced the registration of 5 new cases of recovery, 60 injuries over the past 24 hours, and one death.


Ould El-Zahaf said during his speech - in the daily press conference - that the number of examinations that were performed amounted to 950, 945 exams were confirmed for contacts of previous cases, as well as calls received by the ministry via the green number, and 5 checks for injured people under supervision.


Ould Zahaf added that the cases recorded today belong to contacts of the owners of previously confirmed cases, noting that they are distributed among 59 cases in Nouakchott and one in Tararaza.


This brings the number of people living with HIV in the country since the first case was recorded, on March 13, to 483 cases, including 26 cures, 21 deaths and 436 cases under care.

And Ould Zahaf said during his speech - in the daily press conference - that the number of examinations that were performed amounted to 353 diagnostic examinations for contacts of previous cases, as well as the calls received by the ministry through the green number.



This brings the number of people living with HIV in the country since the first case was recorded, on March 13, to 588.

News (Nouakchott) - The Ministry of Health announced shortly six new deaths from the Corona virus and four recoveries today, Sunday, June 07, 2020.

The director of public health, Sidi Ould Zahaf, said in the daily press conference that the number of recovery cases reached 108 cases, while the death cases reached 55 cases.

He added that the total number of injuries reached 1049 cases, including 886 active cases distributed between 825 cases without symptoms, and 52 with moderate symptoms, in addition to 9 cases under intensive care.

News (Nouakchott) - The Ministry of Health announced shortly 4 new deaths and 55 new cases of coronavirus in Mauritania today, Monday 08 June 2020.



The Director of Public Health, Sidi Ould Zahaf, explained in the daily press conference that the new infections are distributed between 52 contacts and three cases as a result of anonymous community infection.



He added that the number of injuries reached 1104, including 926 active cases distributed between 875 asymptomatic, 43 suffering from mild symptoms and 8 dangerous cases.



Ould Zahaf said that the number of recovery cases reached 119, while the death cases caused by the Coruna virus reached 59 cases.
