NEW NUMBERS: 2,331 Coronavirus Cases in Maryland; 36 Deaths

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Maryland State Health Officials have released new numbers related to the Coronavirus Outbreak in Maryland.

As of 10am 2,331 Marylanders have been diagnosed with COVID-19, an increase of 346 since Wednesday; 36 have died.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — There are now 2,758 cases of coronavirus in Maryland, state health officials reported Friday morning.

That means more than 400 cases were added to the count in just a day. Forty-two people have also died in Maryland due to COVID-19.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Four additional residents at a Maryland nursing home beleaguered by more than 100 positive cases of COVID-19 have died, local health officials announced.

The Carroll County Health Department said nine people living at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mount Airy and diagnosed with the new coronavirus had now died as of late Saturday.

Gov. Larry Hogan said late last week the new coronavirus has been confirmed in 60 different nursing homes in the state, with Pleasant View cases marking the most intense cluster.
