n this demonstration video, Mary Weahkee of Santa Clara Pueblo, an archaeologist with the Center for New Mexico Archaeology, shows the process of making a Mogollon-style sandal using woven broad-leaf yucca combined with fiber cordage from narrow-leaf yucca, reproducing a technique used hundreds and possibly thousands of years ago.
