Ssa: Many Mexicans may develop immunity to H1N1

The Mexicans have developed "herd immunity" against the influenza A/H1N1, so in this winter season has not rocketed the number of patients with the virus, said Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos.
Since the disease appeared in Mexico have been recorded 53 thousand cases and 411 deaths, but there has been a substantial increase, the official said on Sunday in Leon, Guanajuato.
"Those who have recently died did not abruptly, but are deaths that are piling up since July, and missing tests to give confirmation of the cause," he said.
Jose Angel Cordova said that many people have been in contact with the virus, which has developed this "herd immunity, and probably why the plot has not been fired.
The head of the Ministry of Health said that although there is a rebound of the disease, should maintain preventive measures and more in cold weather.
