In Winnipeg, health officials are battling an outbreak of the superbug VRE at 3 hospitals.

Officials are concerned with the length of the outbreak at the Winnipeg Heath Sciences Centre---18 months & counting.

38 patients have become infected, 762 have become carriers. No deaths have been tied to the outbreak...
