For the week 26/2010 (27 June to 3 July 2010), five (5) new ILI cluster cases was reported from four (5) states as shown in Appendix 1. This number is the same as the amount reported in the previous week.

In the same week, a total of 608 new patients with symptoms of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) have been admitted to hospitals for treatment as compared to 610 patients in the previous week, a slight decrease compared to last week. The remaining cases that are still being treated across the country on the last day of 26/2010 (July 3, 2010) are 390 cases in 69 hospitals including 14 private hospitals.

ILI in the remaining cases are still being treated across the country on the last day of epid week 26/2010 (July 3, 2010) is of 390 cases in 69 hospitals including 14 private hospitals. Of these, only 35 patients or 9.0% were cases of Influenza A (H1N1) is confirmed by laboratory tests. For the record, there were 10 cases of H1N1 treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and six (6) of individuals who have risk factors.

The number of confirmed cases of influenza A (H1N1) in the same week of 42 cases compared to 60 cases in the previous week, a decline of 30%, bringing the total cumulative cases of a positive influenza A (H1N1) is 15.254. No new deaths reported, bringing the total death cases remained 89 cases.
