Madagascar recorded 104 new confirmed positive cases for coronavirus this Monday, July 20.

The assessment of the coronavirus epidemic in Madagascar reports 104 new confirmed positive cases on Monday July 20. In detail, 71 new cases are located in Analamanga, the region where Antananarivo is located, and 33 in Mahajanga. The total number of contamination cases recorded since March 19 therefore stands at 7,153, reports the Orange.mg site. In addition, 3,303 patients are still on treatment, 72 of whom are in severe form.
62 deaths

In addition, three new deaths have been announced. These are patients treated at CHU Befelatanana, a hospital located in Antananarivo. In total, 62 people therefore died from Covid-19 disease in Madagascar. However, 290 patients, including 254 treated at home, were recovered. This brings to 3,788 the number of healings in the country since the epidemic began.
