Contact cases outnumber imported cases

Community cases are increasing. With six new cases registered yesterday, the number of contact cases of Coronavirus now exceeds that of imported cases, amounting to fifty-nine (59,) while imported cases, in other words sick subjects from abroad are fifty-six (56).
“Between yesterday afternoon (note: Thursday) and today (note: yesterday) at noon, the Institut Pasteur de Madagascar has counted three new cases in the Atsinanana region, including two men aged 35 and 41, and an 18-year-old girl, and three other cases in Analamanga, involving a 45-year-old woman, an 18-year-old girl, and a 23-year-old man, "said Professor Hanta Marie Danielle Vololontiana yesterday at her intervention at the Covid-19 Operational Command Center (CCO-Covid-19).
She indicated that all these cases were found at community level, recalling that the entire population of the two regions and of all the regions where the disease is progressing, must continue to scrupulously respect all the protection and prevention instructions, because the cases Confirmed contacts are constantly increasing and are spread throughout the districts.
One hundred and seventeen cases
According to the last assessment of CCO-Covid-19, the total number of patients in the Big Island since the discovery of the disease is one hundred seventeen (117), including the thirty-three (33) healed who have already left the 'hospital. Eighty-four (84) patients remain in treatment throughout the country.
The CCO-Covid-19 center published a Covid-19 progress map on all affected regions on April 16. It presents the real situation of cases of healing, treatment or new contamination in establishments taking charge of the disease.
Thus, in Greater Tana, there are forty-eight (48) cases confirmed during treatment and twenty-seven (27) cures at the hospital centers (CHU) of Anosiala, Andohatapenaka, Befelatanana, at the CHU mother-child of Ambohimiandra, at Ilafy Polyclinic and at home. In the Atsinanana region, thirteen (13) patients are being treated and four (4) people cured at the CHU de Morafeno in Toamasina, and four (4) others, while in F?n?rive-Est, two patients were admitted to the district referral hospital (CHRD). In the Upper Matsiatra Region, there are seven (7) sick people at the Andrainjato University Hospital, Fianarantsoa. In the district of Toliara I, three (3) patients are hospitalized at the Mitsinjo Betanimena teaching hospital. In the Menabe Region, one (1) patient is still receiving treatment at the "Manara-penitra" hospital in Morondava. In Nosy-Be Hell Ville, two (2) people are undergoing Covid-19 treatment at the CHRD in Nosy-Be, and finally, in Antsiranana, a healed person has already left the hospital, while zero positive cases are displayed on the map.
