Here patients are treated aggressively, tested positive for influenza A (H1N1) pandemic. By 27-1 days, severe disease progresses, multiple organ failure for the family and would like to die at home.

VietNamNet Bridge - The first death from H1N1 flu infection in 2011 was reported in Hanoi, according to the Ministry of Health?s Preventive Health Agency.

The patient, 52, from Dong Anh District, was transferred to the Bach Mai Hospital as he was suffering from respiratory dysfunction. He was tested positive for H1N1.

The patient later died from critical multi-organ failure. Before that, upon family request, he was discharged from hospital and died at home...
