- An intensified surveillance in accordance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code was carried out during a three-month period.
- The clinical and epidemiological investigations of surrounding farms within a 3-km-radius of the index poultry farm have finished (a total of 30 farms).
- Samples were all negative for notifiable avian influenza (NAI).
- No NAI case was observed or detected.
- According to the aforementioned information, Chinese Taipei declares that the H5N2 avian influenza outbreak confirmed on 15 November 2011 in Hsinchu County is resolved.
