Some comments on the data.

Concerning clinical data, there is a steady decrease (27.6%) in influenza like (ILI = Fever+cough/sorethroat/upper respiratory infection), from 99.2% (week 30) to 71.6% (week 9). There is a steady weekly increase in Pneumonia or ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome), from 0 to 17.5%. Pneumonia/ARDS for week 9 is now at the same level of Gastro (both 17.5%)

Concerning the age distribution for hospitalization, the data seem to indicate a slow shift to older age groups. 0-24 is still predominant in week 9 with 51% compare to 45% for 25-64, but if you look at week 36, the 0-24 was at 66% and 25-64 at 31%.
65+ has increased from 0% at week 30 to 5 % at week 9.

Note:

For week 10, the total estimated cases was 278 000. As mentioned by Missouriwatcher, the total for week 11 was 282 000. The estimated new cases from week 10 to week 11 are 4000.

Based on an extrapolation from CDC data, the real case count in Louisiana is closer to 292,000. The state public health laboratory continues to test only hospitalized cases and specimens from sentinel outpatient physician's offices.
