Long Eaton woman dies after giving birth

TRIBUTES have been paid to a Long Eaton woman who died seconds after giving birth to a son.
Julie Welsh, 28, died at Royal Derby General Hospital after giving birth to baby Isaac last week.
Miss Welch, who worked as a quality controller, had suffered from swine flu and a kidney infection during her pregnancy.
Shortly after giving birth she become unconscious and died.
Her parents, Lee and Margaret, who still live in Miss Welch's hometown of Blyth, Northumberland, said they were "devastated" by their daughter's death and that she had been looking forward to being a mum.
