Un giovane diabetico di Salina ? morto al pronto soccorso dell'ospedale di Lipari e sulla vicenda ? stata avviata un'inchiesta. E' accaduto stamane. Paolo D'Alia, 29 anni, di Malfa, era giunto con l'aliscafo proveniente da Salina. Al porto di Sottomonastero, la madre, che lo accompagnava, ha richiesto l'intervento dell'ambulanza per poter raggiungere l'ospedale. Al pronto soccorso, dopo la visita e i prelievi, il cuore del giovane ha cessato di battere. Sul posto sono giunti i carabinieri che hanno avviato le prime indagini e informato la procura di Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. Da due giorni - secondo le prime indiscrezioni - accusava vomito e diarrea e in ospedale sarebbe giunto disidratato. Le analisi avrebbero anche accertato un'insufficienza renale.
