Linking Policy for Professionals

sharon sanders

Editor-in-Chief & President
We allow links to members' personal and professional websites. These links need to be on the members profile sheet. On this sheet members can enter data about themselves and their contact information. Of course, since we are a "family friendly site" there are some limits to the content that can be linked here.

If the professional is spending large amounts of time here advising, posting, and discussing pertinent avian influenza topics and logistically it makes sense to link in a post to relevent data on a host site, then this is allowed too.

What we do not allow is "hit and run" posts. These are posts where the professional makes a short post that is made basically for the purpose of driving traffic to their host site. Also, we do not allow posts where money is solicited.

We thank all professionals who donate their time to this public health charity.

Re: Linking Policy for Professionals

Hey Florida 1
It think that is a very gracious and generous policy for professionals. Thank you! I agree most heartedly that 'hit and run' are not appropriate and frankly are in my personal opinion less professional to put it mildly.
