The patient comes from Saudi Arabia and has been complaining for several days of high fever without severe respiratory symptoms. He has received the necessary treatment and is currently in good health at his home where he is subject to domestic isolation and surveillance measures by the Ministry of Public Health. The ministry also monitors all contacts who have been in contact with the patient or were close to him while traveling and staying in Lebanon.

The second case was diagnosed in Lebanon, where the first case was recorded in 2014 and the patient was treated in time. Preventive measures taken by the Ministry of Health prevented the transmission of the virus to any other citizen
