This report includes the number of examinations that are carried out in the hospital laboratories and not the other laboratories, and shows in numbers the cases in the isolation and stone areas inside the hospital, provided that the Ministry returns the statement of numbers on the number of injuries on all Lebanese lands.
  • The total number of cases that were received in the emergency allocated to the Corona during the past 24 hours: 158 cases, 17 of which required quarantine, while the rest adhered to the home quarantine.
  • The total number of laboratory tests: 206
  • Negative results: 199
  • Positive results: 7
  • 19 people were present in the quarantine area after the result of the laboratory test was negative.
  • To date, there are 14 cases in the quarantine area.
  • The total number of positive cases inside the hospital 38 cases.
  • The situation of those with corona is stable, except for two, which are critical, all of whom receive the necessary care in the isolation unit.

Daily Report on Covid-19

As of March 13, 2020 at noon, a total of 77 confirmed cases of Covid-19, including those diagnosed in the Rafic Hariri Governmental University Hospital and those reported from other university hospitals.

The Ministry of Public Health also announces the diagnosis of a condition of its employees in the central administration, and the infection was picked up by one of its diagnosed relatives. The Ministry shall follow the necessary procedures to isolate it, identify those in contact outside and inside the ministry, collect samples and place the contacts in a domestic quarantine.

Lebanon March 19th coronavirus update

As of Thursday, March 19th, the total of coronavirus cases in Lebanon has become 149 after 16 new cases were confirmed by the Ministry of Public Health.

In its daily COVID-19 report, the ministry stated: “From February 21st until March 19th, 2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 149.”

The total includes “those diagnosed in Rafik Hariri Governmental University Hospital and those reported in other university hospitals accredited by the ministry (i.e. 16 new cases were registered yesterday).”

Reportedly, among these new positive cases is a member of Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces. Consequently, 14 other ISF personnel have been instructed to adhere to self-quarantine at home...

Lebanon coronavirus daily report March 22nd

Lebanon now has a total of 248 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed on Sunday, March 22nd.

In its daily COVID-19 report, the Health Ministry stated: “From February 21st until March 22nd, 2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 248 after 18 cases were recorded since yesterday.”

This total is inclusive of all positive coronavirus cases across Lebanon, in Rafik Hariri University Hospital as well as other hospitals accredited by the Ministry of Public Health.

According to the report, “five cases were received from laboratories not approved by the Ministry, and they need to be reconfirmed at Hariri Hospital.”

The number of active positive cases, considering that 4 deaths and 8 recoveries have been recorded in total, is 236 as of March 22nd...

The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed that the new total of coronavirus cases in Lebanon is now 333. In its March 25th COVID-19 report, the ministry revealed the number of new coronavirus infections.

The report said: “Until 25/03/2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, accredited university hospital laboratories, as well as private laboratories has reached 333 after 29 cases were recorded since yesterday.”

It also confirmed that a total of 50 cases have been received from laboratories not approved by the ministry...

With the announcement of the total of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Lebanon on Friday, March 27th, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed 1 new death related to the disease.

The daily coronavirus report released by the Health Ministry said the deceased was suffering from chronic diseases before his death at Saint George University Hospital.

The ministry also said that the patient was in the eighth decade of his life when he passed away. With this new death, the total of coronavirus-related fatalities in Lebanon has become 7 as of Friday, March 27th...

Lebanon reports 446 COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths

BEIRUT, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Monday that the number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 446 with a death toll of 11, the National News Agency reported.

In addition, 32 patients were healed and returned to home, the ministry said, urging people not to leave their houses during the epidemic.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced that various public hospitals across the country are ready to receive patients with respiratory problems and suspected coronavirus cases...

Lebanon registered 17 new cases of coronavirus and one more death, the Health Ministry said in its daily tally on the pandemic on Tuesday.

The Ministry said the tally includes laboratory-confirmed cases reported by the state-run Rafik Hariri University Hospital and private hospitals and laboratories.

The new tally brings the total of cases to 463 infected and 12 dead....

The report said that until 02/04/2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, accredited university hospital laboratories, and private laboratories has reached 494 after 15 cases were recorded since yesterday...

...As of Thursday, the number of total recoveries is 43. With the latest updates taken into account, the total of active cases is now 435, only 3 of which are considered in critical condition.

On the other hand, the total number of fatalities is 16 as of Thursday.
