BISHKEK, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan reported 420 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, raising the total number of infections in the country to 36,719.
The country's health authorities on COVID-19 said that 19 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the caseload of infected medical workers to 2,809.
The total recoveries in the country increased to 27,274 with 848 new recoveries over the last 24 hours and deaths from the virus increased to 1,409 with 12 new deaths.
