Measles cases in Kyrgyzstan decrease 20 times, whooping cough —5 times
According to the results of the first half of 2026, a decrease in a number of infectious diseases, including vaccine-preventable infections, has been registered in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of measles cases has decreased 20 times: 433 cases in 2026 compared to 8,572 cases in the same period in 2025. Whooping cough cases have decreased 5 times, to 53 cases compared to 255 the previous year...
