FONTANA, Calif. – Kyle Busch has been fighting the flu all weekend and will have David Gilliland standing by in case relief is required during Sunday’s Cup race.
Gilliland was recently signed by Joe Gibbs Racing to run at least three Sprint Cup races for the organization later this season.
Busch’s JGR teammate, Denny Hamlin, was standing by to relieve Busch during Saturday’s Nationwide race at the track.
Busch initially thought he had a bad sinus infection, but was diagnosed Friday evening with the flu, team officials confirmed. :tiphat:http://www.thatsracin.com/115/story/20269.html
