WEDCO confirms non-contagious meningitis case in school employee

WEDCO District Health Department has confirmed a case of meningitis in an employee at Lemons Mill Elementary School, but it is not contagious and does not require investigation of any contacts anyone may have had with the employee.
Rachel Kendall, administrative services manager with WEDCO, said the employee is not a Scott County resident and the health department advised the school system to do a thorough cleaning and sanitizing.
