HAYS, Kansas- Three cases of viral meningitis have been confirmed with a spinal tap at Hays Middle School this week. Viral meningitis is not as harmful as bacterial meningitis and often goes away on it?s own. However it is very painful with symptoms of bad headaches, fever and a stiff neck.
