Kern Council Government's Darrel Hildebrand Dies

BAKERSFIELD, Cailf. -- Darrel Hildebrand, a county employee and member of the Kern Council of Governments has died from complications related to health issues.

The health department said they are still working to confirm if Hildebrand?s death was a result of the H1N1 virus.

If so, Hildebrand would be the 11th person in Kern County to die from such complications.

Hildebrand was the Assistant Director of the Kern Council of Governments.
