Kodagu registers 28 diarrhoea, vomiting cases

Several cases of severe diarrhoea ad vomiting have come to light in various parts of Kodagu district including Kushalnagar, Nanjarayapatna, Basavanahalli, Doddahosur etc.
With two more persons being admitted to the district hospital on Thursday, the number of those suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting has increased to 28.
Mamatha (6) from Basavanahalli near Kushalnagar and Prakash (22) from Doddahosur were admitted to the hospital on Thursday. It may be recalled that Manjula, an 11-year-old girl succumbed to diarrhoea and vomiting at Basavanahalli tribal haadi couple of days ago.
