Kagawada (Belgaum): A woman died Sunday due to swine flu.


Meenakshi Shashikant Modi (44) is dead. He worked as a cookie at Government Kannada and Marathi primary school at Shadabala Station village. A few days ago Meenakshi had gone to Tirupati. After returning to the hospital, she was admitted to a private hospital in Shadabala due to the illness and fever. However, due to lack of fever, Dr. Bharti was admitted to the hospital.

The doctor said that Meenakshi had a piggy after his blood test. However, her husband Shashikant Modi has said that she had died five days after she did not respond to treatment.

Sirvara, Block Tumkur. District RRT investigated
the outbreak. Cases presented with fever, sore
throat and cough. A total of 04 throat swab samples
collected and tested at MCVR; 02 swabs were
positive for Influenza B. All cases were treated
symptomatically. Health education given
