HAKODATE, Japan (Kyodo) -- Water quality of lakes can be improved through the injection of tiny nanometer-sized oxygen bubbles which stimulate aquatic microorganisms, with the potential to purify entire lakes, according to a research team which conducted a study last month at a park in Nanae, Hokkaido.
