Japan to help Afghanistan build 70 more schools
Japan is to provide 25 million dollars to Afghanistan to build 70 schools in Bamiyan and 2 other developing provinces to help reconstruct the war-torn country.

Gemba visits Afghanistan, pledges Japanese aid in meeting with Karzai
KABUL (Kyodo) -- Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba pledged Wednesday to provide continued support for Afghanistan's development during talks with President Hamid Karzai, at a time when the security situation in many parts of the country remains precarious and the global community is trying to come up with a workable framework for its stability.
