Re: Japan - heavy rain and flood warning

It looks bad. I have been reading about flooding near that region but in southern China and wondering about crop damage too. At one point they had about a foot of rain in four hours.

Fatal floods hit southern China after prolonged drought [http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13677860 ]

On the WV it looks like they are in for more too:

Re: Japan - heavy rain and flood warning

I was wondering if this level of flooding and mudslides are normal for this time of year in Japan, but the articles I've read so far haven't said that. It looks very severe, though.
