Exhaust from China likely caused haze in Japan

Researchers say harmful particles found in haze over western Japan are likely pollutants from factories in China.

The National Institute for Environmental Studies says the haze was caused by particles including a harmful sulfate, probably from factories and power plants in southern China. The haze covered wide areas of western Japan for a week until Wednesday.....
