Eisai Joins Global Initiative to Fight Neglected Tropical Diseases

London, Jan. 30 (Jiji Press)--Thirteen global drug makers, including Japan's Eisai Co. <4523>, the World Health Organization and other entities on Monday unveiled a joint campaign to help eliminate 10 so-called neglected tropical diseases, or NTDs, by 2020.
