This would be yet another person suspected of having bird flu in the last week from Kalideres in west Jakarta. The first was a 14 year old (known as Randy) admitted on January 5th, confirmed to be infected on January 8th and later died on January 10th--thought to be duck-related. It would be invaluable to know if this happens to be the brother or some other relation or neighbor. They had said at the time that they were going to launch an investigation into that neighborhood of Kalideres, so perhaps this is one of the results of that investigation. The number of people potentially in this cluster may be on the order of nine to eleven people.

Location may not be as meaningful in Jakarta as in the countryside. People do not necessarily work where they live, and could shed virus all over the city.
