Abstract

An outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), started in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. The real-time reverse- transcriptase polymerase - chain - reaction (RT - PCR) method can be used for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in oral swabs[SUP]1[/SUP] .
