PADUA - A case of Dengue fever found in a young tourist returning from Brazil was reported by Ulss 6 Euganea. A week after his return to Italy, the young man complained of fever, general malaise and severe joint pain. His conditions are clearly improving, with his forthcoming resignation after about a week of hospitalization. As a precautionary measure, the Prevention Department of Ulss 6, in agreement with the Municipality of Villafranca Padovana where the man resides, has ordered extraordinary disinfestation, starting today, 28 July 2023, and for three days, within 200 meters from the home of the young man. Next week the Ulss will verify the effectiveness of the treatment carried out.
