19 year old University Student killed after twenty days by a virus infection.

A 19 year old male patient has died yesterday in the evening at Padua Hospital after four days in Intensive Care Unit of the Transplantation Centre ''Gallucci''.
The boy was from the the neighbor town of Campodarsego, a dozen of chilometer from Padua.
He started to suffer from sore throat and high fever around twenty days ago; he has been transported by his parents at Cittadella Hospital and his conditions seemed to be stabilized.
The fever - however - didn't subside; local doctors suspected a viral infection because treatment failure.
Last week the condition of the patient suddenly worsened and he was transferred in ICU for two days.
Sunday he was finally transported to Padua, where some laboratory tests have been performed; the results confirmed the viral nature of his ailment.
Doctors decided to put the patient into a pharmacologic coma and started a new therapeutical regimen.
He suffered from heart failure on Tuesday 20th and despite the reanimation efforts he finally died.
The patient hasn't an history of underlying conditions, according his parents.
The cause of death is at the moment not disclosed by doctors and Hospital direction.
