Coronavirus in Italy, 187,327 positive cases and 25,085 deaths
In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 187,327 people have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (3,370 more than yesterday, for a growth of 1.8%; yesterday the growth had been more contained, of 2,729 cases). Of these, 25,085 died (+437, + 1.8%; yesterday the deaths had been +534, and here Luca Foresti tries to understand why the death curve is decreasing, in Italy, so slowly) and 54.543 (+2.943 , + 5.7%; yesterday +2,723) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which we are sure are 107,699 (yesterday there were 107,709, and therefore the third consecutive day of decline is recorded; the bill rises to 187,327 - as mentioned above - if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, counting that is all people who have been found positive to the virus since the outbreak). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.
There are 23,805 hospitalized patients with symptoms; 2,384 (-87, -3.5%; yesterday the drop had been 104) are in intensive care.
