Coronavirus in Italy: 232,664 positive cases and 33,340 deaths

In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 232,664 people have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (416 more than yesterday, for a growth of 0.2%; yesterday +516). Of these, 33,340 died (+111, + 0.3%; yesterday +87) and 155,633 were discharged (+2,789, + 1.8%; yesterday +2,240). Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 43,691 (-2484, -5.4%; yesterday -1.811; the bill rises to 232.664 - as mentioned above - if in the calculation there are also the dead and the healed, that is, counting all people who have been found positive for the virus since the outbreak). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.

There are 6,680 patients hospitalized with symptoms (-414), of whom 450 in intensive care (-25, -5.3%; yesterday -14).
