The Istituto zooprofilattico delle Venezie, national reference center for avian flu confirms: the swan found dead in the Clitunno bed was affected by avian flu of the H5N1 type.

The animal was found dead on November 27 last year. The first analyzes of the Zooprophylactic Institute of Perugia had shown the presence of avian flu. Hence the sending of the animal samples to the Veneto, to the national reference centre. Whose tests have confirmed that it is bird flu.
