Three New Deaths Related to Swine Flu Reported

Reported: 17:01 PM - Nov/01/09

(IsraelNN.com) The Health Ministry reported on Sunday three new deaths related to the H1N1 swine-flu virus. In all three cases, the ministry said it could not rule out H1N1 as the cause. They brought the death toll during the current international pandemic to 39 out more than 4,000 cases diagnosed in Israel.

A 52-year-old man with a history of severe illnesses died in the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer near Tel Aviv after he was diagnosed with the virus a few days ago. A 75-year-old woman in similar circumstances passed away at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. An overweight 29-year-old who smoked died at Beit Meir Hospital in Kfar Seva.
