Israel Reports More Newcastle Disease in Hazafon

ISRAEL - The Israeli veterinary authorities have reported further outbreaks of Newcastle disease in Hazafon, affecting 5-week-old broilers and 34-week-old table egg layers.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received Follow-up Report No. 16 yesterday, 8 May.

Out of a total of 62530 susceptible birds, approximately 9000 cases were identified. 3100 deaths were recorded, and 55900 birds were destroyed.
