Two doctors in Israel infected with suspected Omicron variant. Triple vaccinated (with Pfizer vaccine I assume since it is Israel). Presumably infected despite full PPE [*my assumption]

"Regarding the first doctor, the hospital said in a statement on Monday that “the doctor is vaccinated with three doses of the coronavirus vaccine, his condition is mild and he is improving,” adding that he does not need any medical attention."
"The second doctor, also a cardiologist, was likewise fully vaccinated." [*which means 3 shots in Israel]

More could end up being infected, though they are heavily testing contacts. The one known transmission was after a lengthy contact in a small area and that doctor was much older.

“Despite everything, despite the vaccines and the booster, I was in bed for 48 hours,” he told the Times. “If I didn’t have the vaccine, I probably would have ended up in the hospital.”

The doctor is urging people to get vaccinated, including boosters...

Jerusalem: The Israeli Ministry of Health on Friday reported four new cases of the Omicron Covid-19 variant in the country. The fresh infections took the total number of Omicron cases in Israel to seven.

The new cases are of four passengers who have recently returned from South Africa, all of whom are not vaccinated against coronavirus, Xinhua news agency reported citing the Ministry.

The Ministry added that there is a high suspicion of another 27 cases of Omicron in Israel, for which the results of genomic sequencing tests have not been received. And 22 of the 27 people were not vaccinated, or recovered more than half a year ago. Eight out of the 27 have recently returned from abroad...
 
I think some sources are describing people without whatever the latest concept of 'fully vaccinated' is as being 'unvaccinated'.

This local source hints that all the infected had some degree of immunity from previous infections or vaccines. I haven't seen any confirmed evidence of people who are truly immune-naive to SARS2 being infected by the Omicron variant. (Yet many have very bad outcomes from Delta.)

The Health Ministry said it was investigating at least 30 other cases of possible exposure to Omicron and their test samples have not yet completed the genomic sequencing process.

At least 24 of those now being investigated were not fully vaccinated or had recovered from COVID-19 more than six months ago.

The remaining six had received three doses of the vaccine.
 
Certainly, both fully vaccinated and naturally infected at some point can get infected with Omicron. I'm wondering about people who have never been infected or vaccinated at all. There are those reports of under 5's being infected with COVID in SA, but I haven't seen documentation that Omicron is the culprit.
I'm wondering if we are seeing ADE like in dengue.
